Thank You Jefferies – Asia

Nobody said it would be easy.  Just when we thought we only had to deal with Brexit, trade wars, environmental disasters, government shutdowns, riot protests, and political elections, we have now been introduced to Coronavirus.  The purpose of this note is not to share our opinion of what may develop from this highly contagious illness.  Nobody seems to know and our guess is that it will be worse than the people who minimize it predict and eventually more manageable than the doomsday prognosticators proclaim.  The world always continues to turn and somehow we know we will get through this latest tragedy.  In the meantime, we would just like to share our incredible appreciation for those within Jefferies who are on the front lines dealing with this adversity.  Whether you are working from home, coming to the office, dealing with critical travel, self-quarantining out of an abundance of caution, supporting your clients’ needs, or keeping your families safe and calm…….EVERY ONE OF YOU ARE OUR HEROES!  Uncertainty is extremely hard to deal with and as usual, our Jefferies team is rising to the occasion and doing their very best on a daily basis by staying calm, consistent, dedicated, thoughtful, caring and professional.  When the going gets tough, we would rather be in the trenches every day with each of you.  Thank you and please know that our hearts are with you as you work so hard to support all those that count on you every day.
